BUILDING AN ARTISAN LEGACY....

Our story began in Vryheid, Kwa-Zulu Natal where Rose Opperman, a farmer's wife with an entrepreneurial streak and mom of five, turned her passion for good food and fine sweets into a business at the age of 56. Today the 3rd generation is continuing this artisan tradition in Paarl in the heart of the Cape Winelands.

Inspired by Rose's tenacious spirit, her "joie de vivre" as well as our fondest childhood memories of celebration and family get-togethers, the Roses Team offers artisan delicacies, snacks and gifts for all of life’s sweet moments: whether you are treating yourself, spoiling your family, packing a snack, celebrating with friends and family, entertaining your guests...
